A  FUN fundraising event and opportunity to promote awareness for ANCHOR POINT

WHEN AND WHERE

 

WHO

 

Each team will consist of a maximum of 6 players and be led by a Team Captain (click here for more information). The Team Captain will be responsible for corresponding with and updating Anchor Point staff as team members are gathered. Teams can consist of up to 6 people, whether they're from a church, workplace, neighborhood, or are just a group of friends. Be creative! Teams can even consist of husbands vs. wives, or can comprise church or business teams engaged in a little friendly competition!

 

WHAT

 

Teams will play approximately two hours of Top Golf games, followed by a brief presentation about Anchor Point and an invitation to get involved. Drinks and finger foods will be available throughout game play, or players may order off the menu. To round out the evening, there will be a raffle featuring various items generously donated by our community partners.

 

Don’t golf – no worries! We have a fun filled day for you.  We will have great food, a trunk show with lots of lush organic bath products, jewelry, hand bags & home accessories, and a few more items from local boutique shop owner's  to surprise & delight you. This is one shopping excursion you and your friends won't feel guilty about, so come out and support a great cause, you might just win one of the many raffle prizes!

A Few Things to Keep In Mind

 

This is a fundraising event as well as an opportunity to promote awareness for Anchor Point. Want to learn more about Anchor Point? Click here.

 

As you begin to fill your team rosters, you may want to ask potential supporters to join you. Perhaps a few staff members from your church or business would make a great team or, if you're aiming for the top scoring team prize, you could recruit your golfing buddies (note, however, that there will also be a prize for lowest scoring team). You might also want to consider your business partners and friends.

 

 

    Gather Your Team

    Each team consists of 6 players (maximum number per bay), so be thinking about who you want to recruit for your team. Regardless of the team members you ultimately choose, your team will learn more about Anchor Point and have fun doing it! Please provide the names of your team members as soon as possible.

 

   Register Your Team

   Your team must donate or raise a minimum of $750 by April 1st in order to secure your bay at the event.  As a Team Captain, it is your responsibility to make sure this requirement is met. Click here to commit to being a Team Captain.

 

     Encourage & Communicate

    As the Team Captain, you will be our point of contact in communicating details to players, so please keep your contact information updated with our office during the time you commit to becoming a Team Captain and the actual time of the event. As details about the event, such as raffle items and prizes, are finalized, pass those details along to keep your teammates excited and engaged.
