Getting started as a new Anchor Point volunteer is a step-by-step process to ensure that each volunteer is properly oriented, matched, and trained. All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and pass criminal background check, child abuse & neglect registry check, and sex offender check. In some instances, children 14 and older may be able to volunteer.
Our procedures are in place to ensure a safe environment for our clients, staff, and volunteers. Some volunteer positions have a distinct selection and training process, requiring you to attend follow-up staff interviews and complete required program training.
